This eleven day tour begins with your arrival in Bucharest. After an orientation meal you will enjoy your first night staying in the heart of Old Town. Start the next day with a walking tour of Bucharest and a tour of the People's Parliament, second largest building in the world! The group of six will travel in a van. Throughout the journey we plan to have walking tours in three cities, visit two castles (the fabulous Royal Peles and also "Dracula's Castle" in Bran) and several UNESCO World Heritage sites. One day will be in rural villages with a shepherd preparing our meal. We will spend a couple of days in Bucovina preparing a traditional Romanian meal before watching and dancing with local dancers, and visiting several painted monasteries. After a night train from Suceava to Bucharest we will make a visit to the Ruth School in one of the toughest neighborhoods in Romania followed by an afternoon of free time to explore Bucharest.
